PhD Candidate in College of Chemistry & Chemical Engineering Publishes High-Quality Research in “Science Advances” as First Author

“Tip-enhanced ablation and ionization mass spectrometry for nanoscale chemical analysis”a paper that presents a joint research project by Prof. Wei Hang’s and Prof. Jianfeng Li’s research groups in the XMU School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, was published on December 8 in “Science Advances” (2017, 3:eaaq1059).


In Prof. Wei’s research group, PhD candidate Zhisen Liang completed the overall experiments for the paper while another PhD candidate, Shudi Zhang, completed the theoretical models for near-field denudation and ionization. In Prof. Li’s research group, master’s degree candidate Yapin Wang completed the preparation of the shell tip. The research was co-sponsored by the National Natural Science Foundation of China.
